As March 25th quickly approaches us, the more and more excited I am to get my license. It has definitely been a long, challenging journey from when I first got my permit, but I definitely came a long way. Not only do I not run as many red lights as I used to, but I can actually parallel park now. I know I say this as if not running a red light is something that is impossible, but considering how bad I was when I first got behind the wheel, It's a huge accomplishment.
My parents and I have been looking online for my new car. Luckily, I will not have to chip in to help pay for it, and I am very grateful. As of now, I have my eye set on a car from this dealership in New Jersey. Hopefully, my parents will agree to bring me this weekend to see it in person. I've been ordering new accessories for my keys and the interior of my car, so as you can tell, I am very excited. My friends are always telling me that they'd rather walk to the destination than get into a car with me behind the will, but I think they're just being sarcastic...hopefully. I'm not as bad as everyone thinks, and I actually am quite a good defensive driver. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is paying for gas. My parents will probably pay for my first few tanks, and then I think I'm on my own. I say all this as if I'm going to pass the test, but anyways, purrr.
HAHAHA Good luck on your drivers test! It's not as bad as you think it might be. You just have to remember to stay calm and not stress yourself out too much. Just make sure you don't run any red lights lol. Hopefully, you get to see that car in person soon and get it, so you can start driving yourself places!!
ReplyDeleteThat is all so exciting! Good luck on your driver's test, and I hope you get the car you've had your eye on. My mom is making me wait until I turn 17 to get my license, so May can't come soon enough. I'm looking forward to being able to drive myself around, as I'm sure you are too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your driver's test!! I was always really good at parallel parking but when I took my test I hit the curb pretty hard but didn't go over. Just make sure that you read what to expect on your driver's test and make sure you know where everything is inside the car!! You'll pass :)
ReplyDeleteChris! I have been in the car with you behind the wheel and I think you're a fine driver... Don't stress, you'll pass. Getting a new car is very exciting, congrats!
