As everybody knows, we just had a big snowstorm with 30+ inches! I really did not think that we would get as much as we did, especially since last year we had basically no snow. So when we ended up having that much snow, I was so surprised! But I was very excited! I felt like we had not had a snow day in forever and I really wanted one. I definitely think we are making up for all the missed snow days last year! I did not think that we would have snow days/FID days the whole week, but I loved it!
I feel like it was much needed. I really enjoyed being able to wear sweats and wake up an hour later, even when we had the virtual days. All of my zooms were short and I was able to finish all my homework before “school” was over on Thursday. Tuesday was even better because we did not even have zoom classes. I was able to stay home all day. Sadly, I had to go into work later because apparently everyone wants to go to Wendy’s in the middle of a snowstorm!
My dogs also enjoyed the snow… well at least one of them did. My one dog, Jack loved running in the snow and eating it too, even if it was taller than him. My other dogs did not get to enjoy it. Hero thinks it is too cold and my other dog, Drake, just had surgery so he was not allowed to go in it. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable week and I kinda don’t want it to go back to normal next week. At least I will still get to leave school early!
