Since it is the last week of our class blog I figured that it might be a good idea to write about my experience throughout these past weeks, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think that giving everybody the freedom to write about whatever it is they wanted really led to me being able to not only see other people's writing styles to learn from them but also me being able to learn about them as a person. I think that especially know people need some kind of connection so when you are given an outlet to talk to other people like we were given with these blogs it makes sense that a lot of people made good use of that option.
That wasn't to say that blogging didn't come with its challenges. I am a teenager after all and I do like to procrastinate rather than think about topics. Sometimes I really tried hard to think about an original idea for a blog that could still spark some kind of conversation and the ideas I had seemed forced. However, just because my idea seemed forced didn't mean my blog did. The freedom to voice my own thoughts in my own writers' voice I think really made me more attached to the writing that I did more so than any other writing I have done in a while. The only issue that I experienced was with commenting. Sometimes the blogs for the week would be really fleshed out so there wouldn't even be any questions to ask because they had covered everything so neatly. So in cases like that, I would simply agree with their statement or relate it to my life, but at times like that, it felt like a cop-out.
So overall I really enjoyed the blogging process and I think that I learned a lot, but I am wondering how each of your blogging experiences was as well.

I'm so glad you found the experience enjoyable! :)
ReplyDeleteI really did enjoy blogging and expressing how I felt on certain topics! Sometimes it was challenging to find topics, but in the long run, it was a good experience.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoy blogging much more than I expected. I usually think about a lot of the things I blog but I never had a reason to talk about it. Blogging gave me an opportunity and reason to just talk about things on my mind.
