Post Week 9- Campus Life

May of 2019, my friend Ashleigh introduced me to this after school program at Pen Argyl High School. Campus Life is focused around Christianity. Eli Tyler runs the program at Pen Argyl. Over the past two years I've gotten super close to Eli and the students who go to Campus life. The group accepts everyone religious or not. Its not all about religion. We take trips to the beach and the lake and do fun activities all year round. I think Campus Life is more about making everyone feel included despite their differences. Their saying is "We aren't going to tell you what to think, but we want to get you thinking". I've never been a super religious person, or go to church.

When I first went to campus life, my life wasn't going really well, and I was in a super bad place. As I got closer to Eli and the Campus Life counselors, I realized I had a solid group of people who had my back. As I learned more about Christianity my life honestly took a huge turn. March of 2020 Campus Life went to a conference in Ocean City Maryland called Breakaway. It was a weekend long trip and everyday campus life groups met up from all around the east coast and we had a worship in the morning. By the end of the trip I was getting baptized in the ocean on National Women Day. It was the best experience ever. Without campus life and all the people who had my back I wouldn't
 know where Id be today.
