I feel like I'm not alone when I say that I couldn't be more ready for summer. This winter has been one of the worst ones I feel like we have gotten in a while. With all the snow we have been getting, I haven't had a full day of school in what feels like forever. A couple snow days are nice, but not as much when you only go into school twice a week.
I feel with the lack of time we have been in school this semester, so far, I have been having to teach myself most to all lessons for my classes. That can get hard and tiring when I am at home, where I am easily distracted. It also makes it easier for me to went until the last minute to do my schoolwork, which is a bad routine that I don't want to get myself into.
I am hoping that, as much as I liked not having to come into school, we don't have any more school days and that we are in school the days we are supposed to come in. Also, I'm ready for that warm weather to come already! I like the colder weather, but I am definitely ready to not have to wear a coat every time
I walk outside.
I usually love this type of weather and would be thrilled to have this amount of snow days... but honestly with this hybrid schedule I wish this was the one year we would get no snow! I am also excited for the warm weather and hopefully a better spring/summer than last!
ReplyDeleteI agree! At this point, I'm kind of just done with the snow. I'm definitely ready for warmer weather. I realized the other day that if this was a completely normal year, we would have had to add 3 more weeks to the end of the year and wouldn't get out of school until the end of June. For that reason, I'm glad we've still been able to have "classes" on the snow days.
ReplyDeleteI am extremely excited to get warm weather again. It makes everyone happy and positive. Hopefully we get to have a more normal summer than we had last year. Summer is meant to be relaxing and peaceful, which hopefully we can get both this year. I am already counting down the days until summer so that I no longer have to attend zooms or sanitize my hands after every classroom I go in. I can just relax by my pool!
